The new MacBook Touch

Apple has always been great at redefining technology and introducing killer products that look amazing and have highly intuitive and easy to use interfaces. If I sound like I’m gushing, it’s because I am! Imagine being able to compose song’s on a virtual ‘touch’ piano, or update your blog on a web page tablet. It looks sweet, I’m just waiting to see what they are going to be charging for it. Is it Christmas-able? We’ll see, however I’ll be taking out a second mortgage now while the rates are so low, just in case. What do you guys think? This thing or a new Geo Metro? I’ll leave that for you, dear readers, to decide…

Here’s what Apple had to say about the MacBook Touch:

“Think MacBook screen, possibly a bit smaller, in glass with iPhone-like, but fuller-featured multi-touch. Gesture library. Full Mac OS X. This is why they bought P.A. Semi. Possibly with Immersion’s haptic tech. Slot-loading SuperDrive. Accelerometer. GPS. Pretty expensive to produce initially, but sold at “low” price that will reduce margins. Apple wants to move these babies. And move they will. This is some sick shit. App Store-compatible, able to run Mac apps, too. By October at the latest.”
